Consultation on QOF indicators
The public consultation on the potential new indicators for the QOF has now closed. Comments received during the consultation will be considered by the independent Primary Care QOF Indicator Advisory Committee in June 2012, along with the results of the piloting of these indicators across a representative sample of general practices. The QOF Advisory Committee will then recommend which of these indicators should be included on the NICE menu for consideration for the 2013/14 QOF.
Negotiations between the NHS Employers and the General Practitioners Committee will decide which indicators are eventually adopted into the 2013/14 QOF.
