Implementing neighbourhood renewal: experience and lessons so far

It is just 18 months since the National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal was formally launched, with the publication of the national strategy action plan.This paper does attempt to review what’s happened so far, and on the basis of the early evidence, to identify the implications for the future implementation of the strategy. It examines the strategy generally, rather than from a health perspective specifically, though its general conclusions apply to all the policy fields addressed by neighbourhood renewal.
