Nutritional aspects of cardiovascular diseases
This report focuses mainly on nutrition, where there is a significant potential for reducing suffering from cardiovascular disease. It also addresses physical activity levels, and explicitly recommends that people should not smoke. It is based on the Committee on Medical Aspects of Food Policy (COMA) report concerning the relationship between the nutritional aspects of diet and cardiovascular disease.
