Special Health Authority

PUBLIC BOARD MEETING

The Institute is a Special Health Authority, responsible to the Secretary of State for Health and the National Assembly for Wales. The overall objective of the Institute is to promote high clinical standards in the NHS by developing or commissioning guidance on clinical and cost-effectiveness and disseminating this guidance to clinicians, patients and commissioners. The Institute holds six Board meetings per year, all open to the public and in different locations in England and Wales.

Date: Wednesday 21st November 2001

Time: 2.00 pm

Place: The Great Hall, The Merchant Taylors' Hall, Aldwark, York YO1 2BX. The agenda will be posted on the Institute's website (details below) a week before the meeting.
