Mercy Jeyasingham is a management consultant, trainer and life coach. She has held senior posts in both the voluntary and statutory sector, and has been an executive and non-executive board member of a number of national and local organisations. She was an independent patient representative of the NICE Partners Council from 1999 to April 2001.
Former posts include chief executive of a national children's charity, Head of Education for a national charity, and Head of Care Standards for a London social services department. She is a member of the fitness to practice committee of the General Optical Council and a member of the Medicines Taskforce.
