Project history

Date Update
5 August 2011 The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has developed medical technology guidance on Ambulight PDT.
27 April 2011 As a final quality assurance step, and to ensure that NICE acts fairly, those who responded to the consultation guidance are offered access, having first completed a confidentiality form, to the prepublication final guidance and to the (anonymised) consultation comments.

The purpose of this process is to identify errors or breaches of process before publication. Respondents are asked to specify which of these two grounds they are requesting resolution on.

In case of the Ambulight photodynamic therapy guidance, one or more resolution requests was received and NICE is following the process set out in Section 6 of the programme’s process guide.

A revised publication date will be confirmed as soon as possible
The Programme's Process and Methods Guides are available on the Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme web page.
