Dr Rod Taylor, Head of Technology Appraisals at the National Institute for Clinical Excellence, will be leaving the Institute at the end of October to take up a Senior Lecturer post in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Birmingham. The Department is one of the Institute's partner organisations.

Andrew Dillon, Chief Executive of NICE, said: “Rod has played an important role in helping to establish NICE and in leading the development of the technology appraisal programme.”
