2002/052 Imatinib (Glivec) is NICE's 50th Technology Appraisal Guidance

NICE was established to provide independent national guidance on treatments and care for the NHS in England and Wales. When a treatment or pathway of care is proven to be clinically and cost effective NICE guidance will say so, and similarly when the evidence is lacking the guidance is clear that this is the case.
