Technology Appraisal Advisory Committee (TAC)
The Appraisal Committee is an independent standing committee that produces recommendations. They consider the evidence and make a judgement on whether or not the technology should be recommended as a clinically and cost-effective use of NHS resources, or whether it should only be recommended for specific indications or subgroups of patients
