NICE shared learning award 2007

The 2007 results are in!

We are please to announce…

Out of 71 examples the 12 shortlisted examples were:

From these 12 shortlisted examples the finalists were:

The 4 finalists were invited to the NICE annual conference to give a 10 minute presentation on their submission.

Following the presentations the judging panel selected two of the submissions as the joint winners of the 2007 SLA. The winners received a trophy, certificate and £1000 to be spent on NICE implementation within their organisation. The two runners up won £100.

And the winners are…

Developing an abnormal uterine bleeding service by Bradford and Airedale Teaching PCT

and

A buddy scheme for pulmonary rehabilitation by North East Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust

The judging panel for the final of the award consisted of:

  • Dr Gillian Leng, Implementation Director, NICE
  • Sir Michael Rawlins, Chair, NICE
  • Danny Keenan, National Clinical Advisor, Healthcare Commission
  • Dr Phil Hammond, GP & Broadcaster
