Board committees

Our board has 2 sub-committees: the audit and risk committee and the remuneration committee.

Audit and risk committee

The audit and risk committee provides an independent, objective review of arrangements for internal control within NICE.

The board is tasked with setting the organisation's risk appetite and ensuring that controls are in place to manage risk within this. The audit and risk committee is a crucial mechanism for supporting the board in meeting these obligations.

Remuneration committee

The remuneration committee is responsible for ensuring that a policy and process is in place for the performance review and remuneration of the chief executive and directors.
