In February 2023, NICE withdrew this guidance following a review. The original guidance published in 2013 and recommended the use of WatchBP Home A for opportunistically detecting atrial fibrillation during diagnosis and monitoring of hypertension. See evidence review A and evidence review B providing the best advice to the NHS about its use.
