Timescales and process

How to ask us to work actively with you as a co-applicant

Please start this process 4 to 6 months before your funding deadline.

1. Email research@nice.org.uk to arrange an initial discussion.

2. Complete the request form (Word).

3. Email the draft form to research@nice.org.uk.

4. Discussions will now take place to agree the extent of our involvement, the resources required and the costs.

5. Update the request form following these discussions and return it to research@nice.org.uk.

6. We will review your request and approve involvement. We will do this 1 month before your funding deadline.

7. Submit the final application to your funder and send a copy to research@nice.org.uk.

How to ask us to sit on an advisory group for your research

Please start this process at least 2 months before your funding deadline.

1. Complete the request form (Word) and email it to research@nice.org.uk.

2. Discussions will now take place to agree the extent of our involvement, the resources required and the costs.

3. Update the request form following these discussions and return it to research@nice.org.uk.

4. We will review the request. Involvement will be approved at this stage. We will do this 1 month before your funding deadline.

5. Submit the final application to your funder and send a copy to research@nice.org.uk.

How to ask us for a letter of support

Please start this process at least 2 months before your funding deadline.

1. Complete parts A to B of the request form and email it to research@nice.org.uk.

2. Discussions will now take place to agree the contents of the letter of support.

3. We will approve the request and provide the letter of support. We will do this 1 month before the funding deadline.

4. Submit the final application to your funder and send a copy to research@nice.org.uk.
