Help put NICE guidance into practice

You can help to put NICE guidance into practice in a number of ways. For more information on implementing NICE guidance and how NICE involves patients, carers and the public please read more on:

Patient and voluntary organisation support for implementation

  • The NICE Shared Learning Awards celebrate the best submissions to the NICE shared learning database, for projects designed to support the implementation of NICE guidance. Shortlisting for the award and its presentation forms one of the highlights of the NICE annual conference. Patient organisations that are actively supporting and promoting NICE guidance are encouraged to submit details of their projects for the award
  • The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) has recently produced its patient and public involvement strategy, comprising a guide to involving patients and the public in clinical audit activities.
